ETR Weekly #8 – Talking Postcards, TweetMeet and E-Learning in Schools

You may be asking what happened to ETR Weekly #7 – erm, good question and we’re on the case…

This week’s ETR FlashMeeting focused around collaboration and training. Tom Barrett talked about his organising a TweetMeet (using tweetmeet.eu) in Nottingham on Saturday 6th December. Doug Belshaw provided feedback about his new role as E-Learning Staff Tutor at his school, which produced some interesting discussion. We also discussed some useful technologies, such as ‘talking’ postcards and the like… 😀

Dai Barnes is experimenting with using Diigo instead of Delicious for the ETR links. You can access the relevant links from this week’s meeting here.

Lisa Stevens, the wiki pixie herself, has updated the ETR wiki here to include the notes from the meeting.

The music sample in the podcast is taken from Alice Russell’s ‘What We Want’
